Jazzypay is an online payment gateway offering a convenient way for businesses to accept online payments without requiring a point-of-sale device.
Challenge
Prior to the redesign, JazzyPay was facing some issues with their site. The platform’s outdated design leads to poor user experience, while a lack of essential security features puts it at risk for fraud and data breaches, damaging customer trust. Additionally, the gateway struggles to effectively reach its target market, limiting its customer base and growth potential. Addressing these issues is vital for improving user trust, functionality, and market reach.
Process
The project started with a deep dive in JazzyPay’s goals: To reach more merchants and to improve customer experience through an easy-to-use and secure platform. I conducted a thorough analysis of the website and competitors to pinpoint areas for improvement and identify new features. Using these insights, I created initial wireframes to get feedback on the user experience.
After refining these wireframes, I moved on to creating detailed designs with images, colors, and custom text. Since mobile experience was so important for JazzyPay’s customers, we made sure the website was perfect for smartphones and tablets.
Once the design was approved, I handed it over to the developers. As the design lead, I worked closely with the developers throughout the development process to ensure everything was done correctly. We conducted thorough testing to make sure the website met all the requirements and worked flawlessly.
